A useful machine comparison starts with the container you need to make. Two quotations can describe very different production arrangements, even when their headline capacity looks similar. A product brief gives suppliers a common basis for proposing equipment and helps you check what each quotation includes.
1. Define the container and the production target
Prepare a drawing or physical sample for each planned container. Include the overall dimensions, nominal volume, target weight, neck finish and any critical dimensions. Identify the intended resin and grade, as well as any color or appearance requirements that need to be assessed.
- State the required output as acceptable finished containers per hour.
- List the bottle or container sizes that will share the line.
- Describe handles, decoration, closures and downstream handling requirements.
- Identify the product checks that will be used to accept trial production.
2. Compare the appropriate process
MINY lists extrusion blow molding, injection blow molding, injection stretch blow molding and PET blow molding equipment. Review the process choice with the supplier before comparing individual machines. The proposed configuration should address the actual container, material and tooling requirements.
Explore the blow molding equipment range and the separate PET blow molding range to organize the options for your application.
3. Put output figures on the same basis
Ask each supplier to identify the product, number of cavities, material and operating conditions behind a proposed output figure. Check whether the figure includes the handling and inspection operations required by your project. Record the agreed trial conditions alongside the quotation.
4. Review the complete installation
Bring molds, material preparation, cooling, compressed air and finished-product handling into the discussion early. Confirm the equipment footprint, utility requirements, access for maintenance and the supply responsibilities for each connection.
Send the product drawings, output target and available factory information through the MINY contact page to start a configuration discussion.
